Pledge your support for the Proposed Prohibition of Greyhound Racing (Scotland) Bill

Mark Ruskell MSP has launched a consultation for the Proposed Prohibition of Greyhound Racing (Scotland) Bill, which would ban greyhound racing in Scotland. When each of the 9 Unbound the Greyhound coalition members submits their consultation response, they will include the total number of pledges from this action. This will demonstrate the weight of public support for the proposed ban.

The pledge

I am fully supportive of the aim of the Proposed Prohibition of Greyhound Racing (Scotland) Bill to prohibit the use of greyhounds in racing, through the creation of a criminal offence for a person to use or permit the usage of greyhounds in racing at (licensed and unlicensed) racetracks for commercial and non-commercial purposes in Scotland.

I think that legislation is necessary to achieve that aim and am fully supportive of the proposed penalties.
