Unbound the Greyhound Take action

Urge your MSPs to vote for the greyhound racing ban

In the coming weeks, MSPs will vote on whether they support the principle of the Greyhound Racing (Offences) (Scotland) Bill. This Bill, if passed, would end greyhound racing in Scotland.

This is the moment we've been working towards for years. We could secure a ban on greyhound racing in Scotland in a matter of months.

By taking part in this e-action, you’ll be sending a pre-written email directly to your MSPs. The message asks them to:

  • Vote in favour of the Bill at Stage 1.

  • Apply pressure for a date to be set for Stage 3 of the Bill. This is vital to allow for enough time for the Parliamentary process to be completed before Parliament finishes up for the election in May.

Please note this action is for those based in Scotland only.

We are a coalition of 9 animal welfare groups working to end greyhound racing in Scotland. The coalition includes campaigning charities, rehoming centres, grassroots groups and an all-party parliamentary group.
